Museum of Natural History puts me to sleep

in Apolitical by

My tour of NYC’s museums continued today with a visit to the Museum of Natural History. Honestly, it was a little underwhelming. I guess the museum is directed more for children, what with all the stuffed animals and dinosaur exhibitions. Of course, there were several interesting new expos, such as the one on The Horse. Even if the museum was a tad disappointing, the rest of the day was not. I couldn’t stop listening to Coldplay’s new CD, especially the summery jam Strawberry Swing. How ironic was it when I found myself listening to this song while walking through the actual Strawberry Fields in Central Park. Best of all, I ended the day with a charcutterie plate at Bar Boulud, Chef Daniel Boulud’s homage to terrines and pates. It’s the third time I’ve dined there and have yet to be disappointed.
