There will be a different kind of running of the Bulls in Spain this summer.

The South Florida Bulls’ basketball teams, the men and the women, have announced plans for a 10-day trip to Spain beginning Aug. 8. Under NCAA rules, teams are allowed to participate in a foreign tour every four years. The USF teams have several players and coaches who speak Spanish.

The men’s coach is Orlando Antigua. The women’s coach is Jose Fernandez. Women basketball players for the Bulls include Laia Flores, Ariadna Pujol and Laura Marcus. The men’s team has Ruben Guerrero.

The men will take on the Venezuela national team, the Angola national team and C.B. Vic twice. The women will play CREF, Girona, Club Baloncesto Estudiantes and Saint Adria.
