The ballboy in charge of Jameis Winston is going pro.

And it isn’t with Winston.

Like much of last year’s team, Frankie Grizzle-Malgrat, or “Red Lightning,” has left FSU to go to the NFL. But the iconic Grizzle-Malgrat is going to the Atlanta Falcons.

An equipment manager during the week who washes FSU uniforms, Grizzle-Malgrat told CBS Sports that his assignment was Winston.

“I”ve been put in charge of taking care of Jameis,” Grizzle-Malgrat said. “I make sure Jameis has what he needs, nothing to worry about, helmets are OK, shoulder pads. Him especially.”

Grizzle-Malgrat became a popular figure at FSU as he sprinted down the sidelines following a big gain, his fiery red hair and beard identifying him.

Now, he’ll be on the opposite sideline.

And Winston has to face him twice a year.
