A scuffle between Tampa police and Occupy Tampa protesters at Curtis Hixon Park resulted in three arrests early Friday, police said.

Two protesters pushed a police officer who was responding to a call about two tents in the park, according to the Tampa Police Department.

Protesters were sleeping in the tents, police said.

Police did not release the names of those arrested but said the charges vary from battery on a law enforcement officer to interfering with an investigation.
