The endless barrage of fundraising emails from Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have stopped in some of the states where Hurricane Sandy is expected to wreak the most havoc.

The campaigns have stopped fundraising emails Monday in New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
