Pam Bondi has collected $2.3 million for re-election effort

Republican Attorney General Pam Bondi overwhelmed her Democratic opponent in overall fundraising, with nearly $2.3 million raised, according to the state Division of Elections.

Bondi also received $1.445 million in in-kind contributions, mostly from the Republican Party of Florida for staff and consulting expenses. Bondi’s campaign had spent $1.937 million on her election, reports show.

“Justice for All,” the committee closely tied to Bondi’s campaign, also raised nearly $1.9 million.

Democratic AG candidate George Sheldon raised $855,036, spending $796,564 as of Oct. 30, the final day of fundraising.
