“People’s Budget Review” targeting St. Pete’s budget process

St. Petersburg “People’s Budget Review” is gearing up for a launch. What is the People’s Budget Review? This is coalition of community citizens and neighborhood groups launching an unprecedented campaign to gather input from 10,000 St. Petersburg residents on the city’s budget.

According to the People’s Budget Review website: “Never before in the history of St. Petersburg have thousands of everyday people had the chance to speak their mind about how our City government spends our tax dollars. They do now.”

If you’d like to join in on this important initiative, a press conference is being held on the steps of St. Petersburg City Hall next Monday, March 19 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at St. Petersburg’s City Hall.

People’s Budget Review Project Coalition members include:
