Personnel note: Erin VanSickle named VP of Communications for the Florida Medical Association

Chalk this up as great news happening to a good, good person.

Erin VanSickle will be named the new Vice President of Communications for the Florida Medical Association.

“Erin is a savvy, experienced communications professional and we are thrilled to have her joining our staff at the FMA,” said Tim Stapleton, Executive Vice President, Florida Medical Association.

After serving as communications director for the Florida GOP, VanSickle managed communications and media relations for political, legislative, and corporate clients, including Jeff Atwater, Dean Cannon, the Republican Party of Florida and the late, great Dave Bitner.

Erin is a native of Tallahassee and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Affairs with minors in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Florida State University. She is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee Class 21 and volunteers for Youth Leadership Tallahassee. Erin is also a member of the Capital Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association.
