Personnel note: Mike Dew leaving Gov's office to be Dept. of Corrections chief-of-staff

Mike Dew has been named chief-of-staff at the Department of Corrections, transferring from his post as External Affairs Director for Governor Rick Scott.

Prior to joining Governor Scott’s team, Dew served in a number of leadership roles for administrations and campaigns at the national and statewide level.

In addition to Dew’s hiring, Mark Tallent has been promoted as the Director of Finance and Jodi Bailey as the Director of Procurement and Contract Management.

Also, Misty Cash is a new addition to the Department of Corrections’ Office of Public Affairs, where she will serve as the Deputy Communications Director.
