Personnel note: Valerie Wickboldt leaving CoreMessage for new position with the James Madison Institute

Cory Tilley, founder and president of Tallahassee public affairs firm CoreMessage, obviously has an eye for talent.

How else to explain the trend of members of his team leaving only for greener patures? Obviously, Tilley knows how to recruit the best.

Today, Tilley and the rest of the team at CoreMessage are bidding farewell to Valerie Wickboldt.

CoreMessage’s loss is the James Madison Institute’s gain. Wickboldt will start Monday as Vice President of Communications for the venerable think tank.

I have had the pleasure of interacting often with Valerie and I must say she is a genuinely capable, persuasive savvy advocate for her clients.

Good luck to Valerie.

And a request to Cory to let us know who the next talented person is he attracts to his firm.
