A prominent group of conservative Tampa business leaders invite supporters of Hillsborough County Commissioner Al Higginbotham to a reception celebrating his campaign for the District 7 county seat.
The fundraising event will be Monday, September 30 at the historic Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Higginbotham is currently a member of the Hillsborough County Commission from District 7, but cannot run for that seat again due to term limits.
Higginbotham served as both Chair and Chaplain of the Board of County Commissioners and has served as Chair of the Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County. His focus in public service as a community leader actively focused on agricultural, political and faith-based causes.
