in Sports/Top Headlines by

The Tampa Bay Rays continue to lose outfielders.

The Rays lost their fourth outfielder recently when Mikie Mahtook fractured his left hand after being hit by a pitch in the second inning. There is no word how long Mahtook will be out.

Tampa Bay had already lost Kevin Kiermaier, Steven Souza and Brandon Guyer from their outfield.

Mahtook had been struggling with a .154 average. The Rays already had been rumored to have an interest in former teammate Carl Crawford.
