Rick Perry to launch “Sunshine State Kick-off” in Tampa on Sept. 13

Expect to see a lot of Texas Governor Rick Perry in Florida this month.

Perry’s campaign is launching a “Sunshine State Kickoff” in September, with a schedule packed with lunches, dinners, and receptions in Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Miami, and Palm Beach between September 13 and 23.

Perry’s tour starts on September 13 in Tampa, with a breakfast at the InterContinental hotel starting at 8 a.m. At noon that same day, Perry is then scheduled to make an appearance at the InterContinental hotel in Miami.

According to Perry’s campaign website, Perry will host a lunch in Ft. Lauderdale on Sept. 21, with a reception in Palm Beach to follow that day.  There is also a reception scheduled for the 23rd in Orlando.

Tickets for all events start at $1,000, with VIP treatment, including a photo opportunity with Governor Perry, beginning at $2,500 per person.
