Was Rick Scott rooting for Notre Dame over Florida State?

Was Florida Governor Rick Scott rooting for Notre Dame over Florida State during yesterday’s clash of Top 5 football teams? Of course he wasn’t! But that didn’t stop one Scott-hater from flying the banner pictured to the right over Doak Campbell Stadium.

“RICK SCOTT FOR THE GREEN AND BLUE,” reads the banner, a message designed to antagonize the tens of thousands of FSU fans/undecided voters.

No word on who was responsible for the banner.

For the record, FSU bounced back from a 17-10 halftime deficit and won its 23rd consecutive game by holding off The Fighting Irish 31-27.
