Rowdies announce first wave of roster moves

in Sports/Top Headlines by

Off-season moves are already underway as the Tampa Bay Rowdies begin preparations for a successful 2016 North American Soccer League season. Seven members of the 2015 team have been removed from the roster at this time.

The Rowdies have declined club contract options on seven players, making them free agents. Those players are goalkeeper Kamil Čontofalský, defender Rich Balchan, midfielders Marquez Fernandez, Martín Núñez and Marcelo Saragosa, as well as forwards Zak Boggs and Corey Hertzog.

Additional roster moves will be announced as they are finalized.
