With the arrest of Charlie Crist’s handpicked Chairman of the RPOF, the Rubio for Senate campaign today released a new web video entitled, “Can You Trust Charlie Crist?” As pressure grew for Jim Greer to resign over mismanagement of the Republican Party, Charlie Crist offered unwavering support. In December 2009, he even told an editorial board that there was no evidence of wrongdoing by Jim Greer, Crist’s handpicked Chairman. Now everyone knows what the Crist campaign apparently knew months before according to the Greer affidavit but did nothing about it. And now everyone has yet another example of why they can’t trust Charlie Crist in Washington.
