So my Tweet Deck is filling up with political rumors faster than ESPN’s Adam Schefter can talk about Tim Tebow’s draft status. Rumor #1 is that the Charlie Crist campaign is, oh so quietly, attempting to schedule for next Friday a series of press conferences that will end with Crist’s announcement of his Independent bid in downtown St. Petersburg. Rumor #2, which is really beginning to gain steam, is that Crist’s protege, Senator George LeMieux, will file to run for the U.S. Senate seat the governor appointed him to as a caretaker.
