Take a look at the images of the postcard mailed out on behalf of Scott Wagman’s campaign. What do you not see? That’s right, there is no disclaimer. The $500 fine he will receive for leaving off the disclaimer is but a pittance out of his $19 million fortune. It’s nothing more than a cabinet fixture for his penthouse suite in the Ovation building. But it’s also just another misstep by a candidate (I’m gonna spend 500K, bring in the sheriff, eliminate new park spending, bulldoze the pier and let the Rays leave St. Pete) whose candidacy would not even be discussed if it weren’t for his wallet.
