During a debate about a Senate proposal to cut the budget for Rick Scott’s security detail, Senator Mike Fasano reportedly suggested that security might need to be beefed up because of “some of the decisions coming out of” the Capitol. From the Buzz:
Sen.Mike Fasano, R-New Port Richey, attempted an amendment to restore it. Senate budget chiefJ.D. Alexander opposed. Fasano withdrew it.
“I never thought I’d be sitting here trying this,” Fasano said.He added that based on “some of the decisions coming out of the plaza level we may have to” beef upthe governor’ssecurity.
