Glickman will specifically discuss Amendment 4 which is on the primary ballot this August. If passed, advocates say it will end some taxes on solar and open up financing for solar leases to make solar more feasible. Emily Gorman, with the Sierra Club’s Ready for 100 campaign, will talk about efforts to compel leaders across the U.S. to commit to 100 percent clean and renewable energy for all.

The free event is co-sponsored by the Ale and the Witch, the Center for Biological Diversity and Friends of the Tampa Bay National Wildlife Refuges. It is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Witches Den, upstairs at the Ale and the Witch, 111 2nd Ave. NE, St. Petersburg.
