St. Pete is first Florida city to commit to 100 percent clean energy, Sierra Club says

The St. Petersburg council has agreed to transition the city to 100 percent clean, renewable energy. The vote makes St. Pete the first Florida municipality and the 20th in the U.S. to make the commitment and sign on to the Sierra Club’s Ready for 100 national campaign, according to the club’s local branch. Solar energy advocate to discuss Amendment 4 at gathering

Susan Glickman, the Florida Director of the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy and the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy Action Fund, will talk about solar energy in Florida during this month’s Ales and Wild Tails.
