St. Pete Chamber of Commerce to hold Annual Meeting on January 23

For the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, 2013 was an exceptional year, marked by the election of a “surprisingly” pro-business Rick Kriseman as St. Pete’s new Mayor.

To celebrate the year’s accomplishments, recognize outstanding community leaders and discuss visions of the future, PNC Bank will present the Chamber’s 115th Annual Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 23.

The event will be 5:30-9:00 p.m. at the Coliseum, 535 Fourth Ave. N., St. Petersburg.

Highlighting the gathering of the city’s prominent business leaders will be a change of power in the Chamber, as the gavel passes from outgoing Board of Governor’s Chair David Punzak to the new Board Chair Marcus Greene. In addition, the Chamber will name its Member of the Year.

Punzak currently serves as Managing Partner for the Carlton Fields Jorden Burt law firm; Greene is Senior Vice President of BB&T.

Sponsors include BB&T, the Tampa Bay Times, Florida Blue and Raymond James Financial.
