Stop the freakin’ presses: The Recreational Fishing Alliance has endorsed George LeMieux!

Are you sitting down?

I hope so, because I have some really, really big news to share.

Forget about the Indianapolis Colts cutting Peyton Manning.  That pales in comparison to the scoop I just received from the George LeMieux campaign.

Yesterday, LeMieux received the endorsement of the Recreational Fishing Alliance!

Boom!

With the Recereational Fishing Alliance behind LeMieux, the race for the GOP nomination is over.  Connie Mack should just go home now.  Matter of fact, so should Democrat Bill Nelson.  There’s no way either of them can stop LeMieux now that he has the Recreational Fishing Alliance behind him.

“Fishermen from Florida and around the nation need more honest people representing them in the US Senate on their issues,” said Jim Donofrio, breathlessly.  Donofrio is the Executive Director of the Recreational Fishing Alliance — one of the plum jobs in the Recreational Fishing industry.

I’m just so relieved that the Recreational Fishing Alliance is taking such a strong stand on the need for more honest people in Congress.  In fact, if you are a dishonest person, you’re now on notice: Don’t truck with the Recreational Fishing Alliance.

You hear that Connie Mack!
