For years, USF running back Marlon Mack chased the memory of Andre Hall.
For years, he chased down his records.
Finally, on a 49-yard touchdown run against Cincinnati, Mack finally caught Hall, breaking his school record. Mack has 2,755 yards in 27 career games. Hall had 2,731 in 23 games.
Mack had 118 yards against Cincinnati and won the Sunshine State Player of the Week award.
Other nominees were: FSU running back Dalvin Cook, who ran for 140 yards and caught passes for 106 more in FSU’s loss to North Carolina; Florida linebacker Jarrad Davis, who was in on 15 tackles in a win over Vanderbilt; Miami quarterback Brad Kaaya, who threw for 241 yards in a win over Georgia Tech; FIU’s Alex Gardner, who ran for 119 yards in a win over FAU; and Miami defensive linebacker Shaquille Quarterman, who had eight tackles and a fumble return for a touchdown.
