Four weeks after the Hillsborough County Commission voted to keep a controversial Confederate monument outside the courthouse annex, commissioners have changed their minds. In a 4-2 vote Wednesday, “Memoria In Aeterna” will now likely be relocated to the Brandon Family Cemetery. Earlier in the day, county officials said the owner of that facility came forward with an offer to house it. Less than a month after saying she would suspend her campaign for the Hillsborough County Commission District 7 seat, community activist Sky White now wants to re-enter the race. “I’ve decided to continue my candidacy as Hillsborough County Commissioner for District 7,” White wrote in an email Monday afternoon.
