A federal judge shellacked an attorney for the state of Florida during closing arguments Friday in a trialĀ over whether the Seminole TribeĀ gets to continueĀ offering blackjack to its casino customers. With less than a week before a trial over their blackjack games begins, the Seminole Tribe of FloridaĀ has removed James E. Billie as tribal chairman. Florida gambling regulators have objected to parts of anĀ administrative law judge’s ruling onĀ poker-style card games being run at a Jacksonville card room.
