Wengay Newton way ahead in campaign contributions for HD 70 race

Wengay Newton sailed into the lead for fundraising during June in the race for House District 70. Newton raised $5,280, bringing his overall total to $29,550. His nearest competitor Dan Fiorini raised $866, making a total of $13,367.95 The third Democrat in the primary, Christopher John “CJ” Czaia, a latecomer to the race, loaned himself $10,000 and raised $1,050.
