The Pinellas County Commission voted to extend the area’s state of emergency for another week during a special commission meeting Thursday.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has now amended their initial Federal Disaster Declaration to include Pasco County and Polk County for individual assistance. U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson has joined Gov.
