Here’s news about a hiring that doesn’t involve me. Evidently Scott “The Half-Million Dollar Man” Wagman has hired Toni Molinaro, the former chair of the Pinellas Democratic Executive Committee, to serve as his field director for his campaign to be mayor of St. Petersburg. “Many credit Molinaro and her allies with taking a circus of a local party and making it into a legitimate political force. Dave Eggers is cooking up a fundraiser

Dave Eggers, candidate for Mayor of Dunedin (and for whom I have previously worked), has cooked an interesting idea for a fundraiser called “Cooking with the Candidate” where you can join Dave and Chef John, the resident Chef for WFLA, for a five-course dinner of Dave’s favorite foods at LaMaison Gourmet (471 Main Street).
