State Sen. Jack Latvala‘s political action committee Florida Leadership Committee raised $113,357 during the month of March, far more than any other lawmaker’s or candidate’s leadership PAC. Florida Leadership Committee trailed only Gov. Rick Scott‘s Let’s Get To Work, which raised $248,000, and Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam‘s Florida Grown, which raised 126,250, during the month, according to a FloridaPolitics.com review of PAC campaign finance. The political committee backing Gov. Rick Scott raised more than $1 million in the first three months of 2016. State records show Let’s Get to Work — the political committee that fueled Scott’s 2010 and 2014 gubernatorial campaigns — raised $248,000 in March. Banno has raised more than $22,000 as of February 26th while Henderson has brought in just over $11,000. Florida Grown, the fundraising committee that likely will fuel Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam‘s 2018 bid for governor, posted $144,925 in contributions for January, campaign finance records show. The latest haul brings total money raised to more than $4.1 million, with total expenditures now at about $891,000, for a cash-on-hand balance of about $3.2 million.
