Gators’ backup quarterback Treon Harris suspended for drugs

For now, the quarterback competition at the University of Florida is closed. Backup quarterback Treon Harris has been suspended after testing positive for drugs. Harris did not play against Kentucky, but coach Jim McElwain went out of his way to suggest that didn’t mean that Will Grier had won the quarterback competition.
