Isn’t this ridiculous?
A close friend went into the clink last week. He had already agreed to a plea bargain and so he turned himself into the court on Tuesday. His case was over. Yet the next day, more than 50 pieces of direct mail arrived in his mailbox. All hand-stamped with first-class postage. Factoring in creative costs and research time, I figure it costs about a buck a piece for this advertising. Multiply that out by the number of people arrested or incarcerated…
