Gulfport Chamber plans meet-the-candidates event

The Greater Gulfport Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a Meet the Candidates event from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Catherine Hickman Theater, 5501 27th Ave. S. in Gulfport. The event is free and open to the public. Charlie Justice, Wengay Newton, Jennifer Webb, Matt Stewart, and Joanne Lentino have already agreed to appear, Chamber officials said.
