The St. Petersburg City Council was advised this week not to meet with a coalition of businessmen and community leaders who are recommending that the Tampa Bay Rays need a new baseball stadium. Looks like the editors at the Times have opened up the books and decided Aaron Sharockman deserves to be a made guy. After the St. Petersburg Mayoral Campaign, Sharockman will begin his new duties, covering Florida politics for the Times‘ Pulitzer prize-winning PolitiFact.
