Looks like the editors at the Times have opened up the books and decided Aaron Sharockman deserves to be a made guy.
After the St. Petersburg Mayoral Campaign, Sharockman will begin his new duties, covering Florida politics for the Times‘ Pulitzer prize-winning PolitiFact. The only downside to this is that Aaron will no longer be covering the drive to build a new baseball stadium.
Congratulations to a great reporter, even if he is a lousy card player. (He once called me with a pair of eights against a board that read Ace, King, Deuce; I had a King. He thought I was bluffing on the Ace.)
