A pioneering water park in Orlando is closing after nearly 40 years of splashes. Wet ‘n Wild opened in 1977. It’s now owned by Universal Studios Water Parks, which is closing the attraction Dec. 31 to make way for a new water park called Volcano Bay that will open next summer. Families of three patrons killed in the Orlando nightclub massacre sued Facebook, Google and Twitter, claiming the gunman who killed their loved ones was radicalized through propaganda found through social media. The families of Tevin Crosby, Juan Ramon Guerrero Jr. and Javier Jorge-Reyes filed the lawsuit Monday in federal court in Michigan. Walt Disney World is using 300 drones in a new Christmas light show. A dress rehearsal was held Wednesday night, but Disney has not announced dates for the show. The Orlando Sentinel reports it is believed to be the first time drones will be used in a performance of this magnitude in the U.S. Disney is collaborating with Intel on the project.
