A House subcommittee unanimously passed a bill to help service members and spouses find and keep jobs when they relocate to Florida. The House Rules committee voted, 15-3, Monday to kill state support for 23 economics development programs worth around $200 million , including Enterprise Florida, but spared Visit Florida, the state’s tourism promotion organization. One change would affect the payment of a filing fee, requiring a money order or cashier’s check drawn from funds contained within the campaign account.
