From  the Gradebook: resident Greg Hunsinger has filed to run for the Pinellas County School Board against incumbent Peggy O’Shea. Hunsinger’s bid in the at-large District 3 race means all three incumbents up for re-election – O’Shea, Mary Brown and Linda Lerner – are facing challengers. A fourth seat is up for grabs because incumbent Nina Hayden is running for state Senate.

Terry Krassner raises $15K for Pinellas school board bid

Third candidate files for Pinellas County School Board

Terry Krassner is the latest candidate to file for the Pinellas County School Board’s at-large District 2 seat. Krassner, who filed today, is the former principal of Westgate Elementary and the daughter of former School Board member Lee Benjamin. She lives in Largo. She joins Jessica Summers and Linda Benware in the race to replace board member Nina Hayden, who is running for state Senate.
