Tucked into HB 131 (which I track using LobbyTools), the wide-ranging election reform legislation which would, among other things, clarify political advertising on the internet and regulate the electioneering activities of ‘527’s’, is a provision which would move up the date of when each county’s Supervisor of Elections would be required to mail out ballots to “early voters”, such as military and overseas voters.  Currently, the law requires Supervisors of Elections to mail ballots no later than 35 days before…
