Two new polls show Marco Rubio still leads Patrick Murphy in Florida Senate race

A series of recent polls have shown a tightening in the U.S. Senate race in Florida, but two new surveys released Wednesday show Marco Rubio still very much on command. A Bloomberg Politics poll has Rubio leading Patrick Murphy by one of the biggest margins yet, 51 percent to 41 percent. Donald Trump may have the best chance of getting elected president, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll. The poll found 56 percent of Republican-leaning voters said Trump had the best chance of getting elected in November 2016, followed by  Ted Cruz with 17 percent. No other candidate cracked double digits when asked which Republican candidate had the best chance of winning in November. Donald Trump has a 32 point lead over his closest competitor in Florida, found a Florida Atlantic University poll. The New York businessman leads the pack with nearly 48 percent. His closest competitor, the survey found, is Ted Cruz at 16.3 percent. Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush are neck-and-neck in Florida, with 11.1 percent and 9.5 percent respectively.
