Two candidate forums are scheduled this week. Three Indian Rocks Beach candidates will field questions from constituents Tuesday evening in the City Auditorium located at 1507 Bay Palm Blvd. The forum begins at 7:00 p.m. with voter registration from 6:30 to 7:00. Pinellas elections office sends presidential primary ballots to overseas voters

More than 1,500 military and overseas voters will receive their absentee ballots soon. The Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Office mailed 1,579 ballots Friday for the Presidential Preference Primary. Those receiving absentee ballots include active-duty military, their spouses and dependents absent from their place of residence. It also includes civilians who are U.S. citizens, but currently residing abroad. Another about 203,000 domestic voters will have ballots mailed out near Feb. 9. Legally, ballots must be mailed 28 to 35 days…
