Sometimes adjectives are often overused when describing sporting events. Epic; classic; legendary; incredible. All of those and more describe to the 2017 Rose Bowl. Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey is The Associated Press college football player of the year, becoming the first non-Heisman Trophy winner to earn the honor in six years. College Football Playoff Executive Director Bill Hancock says ESPN has agreed to not use advertisements for daily fantasy sports websites during broadcasts of the biggest postseason games.
