Rays sell out Pride Night to help Orlando shooting victims

The Tampa Bay Rays have sold out their annual Pride Night for Friday, which is dedicated to the victims of the Orlando slayings. On Tuesday, the Rays put all open seats up for sell for $5 apiece. For a day, Tropicana Field will be the place to be. For the 11th straight season, the Trop will sell out on opening day, a statistic in sharp contrast to one of the worst-attended teams in Major League Baseball. It is the fourth earliest the team has announced a sellout. Last year, the Tampa Bay Rays drew 31,042, one of two games (out of 82) the team has sold out. Chris Archer will pitch for the Rays.
