Most St. Petersburg Coliseum windows will be replaced, not restored

St. Pete will replace most of the aged windows on the historic Coliseum in downtown instead of restoring them. Only windows, including the most historic large window, on the south side of the building will be restored. City Council takes next step in purchasing additional Boyd Hill land

St. Pete City Council is on board to spend $1.1 million for 11.6 acres of land adjacent to Boyd Hill Nature Preserve that would serve as an additional buffer to ensure the land remains pristine and untouched. St. Pete City Council member-elect Ed Montanari is officially done with any campaign-related work as a result of his un-contested bid for the District 3 seat being vacated by Council member Bill Dudley due to term limits. According to his campaign treasurer’s termination summary, Montanari has zeroed out his campaign coffers with more than $39,000 in returned contributions and various final expenses.
