2 young people become pedestrian fatalities
Two Tampa Bay area young people became pedestrian fatalities in separate incidents about 12 hours apart. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that 12-year-old Leonard Pineda was running through a parking lot to catch his school bus Thursday morning when an SUV hit him. The Farnell Middle School student was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died.
