Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn to deliver third ‘State of the City’ address next Tuesday

A group of city employees, elected officials, civic activists and residents will meet on Tuesday to hear Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn give his third “State of the City” address.

The speech begins  10:30 a.m. at The Armature Works in historic Tampa Heights.

In a statement issued Wednesday, Buckhorn said he chose the 1910 North Ola Avenue site as an “example of a building with a lot of history, but on the verge of a transformation, just like Tampa.”

For those not able to join Buckhorn in person, the event will simulcast live on tampagov.net and the City of Tampa Television channel 615 on Bright House Networks and channel 15 on the Verizon FIOS system.
