The St. Petersburg Times won't show you their picture of new food critic Jim Webster, so here's the next best thing!

The St. Petersburg Times, rightly so, requested that I remove their copyrighted picture of their new food critic, Jim Webster.  As much as I would have not liked to, I complied out of respect for their intellectual property.

But I still don’t believe in anonymous food criticism (read a pretty balanced discussion about the pros and cons of anonymous criticism here) so if this amateur effort to out my local newspaper’s critic is my contribution to this debate, so be it.

Again, this isn’t a picture of Times food critic Jim Webster, but every restaurant and bar owner in Tampa Bay can get a basic impression from this sketch (which I will also be delivering to new restaurants as they open):

Peter Schorsch is the President of Extensive Enterprises and is the publisher of some of Florida’s most influential new media websites, including SaintPetersBlog.com, FloridaPolitics.com, ContextFlorida.com, and Sunburn, the morning read of what’s hot in Florida politics. SaintPetersBlog has for three years running been ranked by the Washington Post as the best state-based blog in Florida. In addition to his publishing efforts, Peter is a political consultant to several of the state’s largest governmental affairs and public relations firms. Peter lives in St. Petersburg with his wife, Michelle, and their daughter, Ella.
