They didn’t reach the AAC championship game, but Saturday was an enjoyable day for Willie Taggart and the USF Bulls.

Taggart signed a five-year extension with the Bulls. His new salary, and possibly his new buyout number, were not announced.

Taggart was on the hot seat earlier in the season after a 1-3 start. But the Bulls won seven of their last eight to finish second in their division. The finish got Taggart an interview with South Carolina on Friday.
