USF St. Petersburg names Joseph Trubacz as Regional Vice Chancellor

USF St. Petersburg Regional Chancellor Sophia Wisniewska has named Joseph Trubacz Regional Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Services. 

Trubacz will oversee budgets, facilities operations and maintenance, facilities planning and construction, human resources, parking, police and purchasing. 

Trubacz has more than 23 years of financial and administrative experience, including the past two years as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at the Colorado School of Mines. He previously spent over two decades with the University of Alaska and the Alaska Higher Education System.   

“These are exciting times for USF St. Petersburg,’’ Wisniewska said. “I am confident Joe’s breadth of knowledge and experience will serve us well as we continue to move this institution forward.” 

Trubacz begins his new duties Oct. 18.
