To celebrate the end of the school year, the University of South Florida St. Petersburg on Saturday, May 5 will host the first food truck rally ever held in downtown St. Petersburg.

Organized by Tasting Tampa, the USFSP food truck rally will be in Parking Lot 2, at Second Street S and Sixth Avenue, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is open to the public. Free parking will be available at the campus parking garage.  Metered street parking will also be available.

At least 13 food trucks are expected to participate.  USFSP is pleased to partner with Tasting Tampa to bring the exciting concept of food trucks to USFSP as a way to celebrate the end of the academic year with our students, faculty, staff and the community.

Tasting Tampa has organized a series of successful food truck events, including the very first ever held in the Tampa Bay area, which drew some 3,500 people in Hyde Park. It also sponsored the first Mayor’s Food Truck Fiesta in downtown Tampa.

The USFSP rally will be held the day after final exams conclude and the day before spring commencement.
